        <pre>I ran  avconv -r 60 -i *.png water.mp4, expecting to get a video of my
weeks-long render of some pretty water. Instead, avconv overwrote every image
file I had with the first one, and output the last image as a one-frame mp4
video. Had I ran instead avconv -r 60 -i %04d.png water.mp4, I would now have a
rather nice video.

I figure having the two commands sitting next to each other, both quite
reasonable-looking, is a fairly gross violation of the principles of usability
and design. It is definitely a bug to me at the moment. (See

I do recognize I should have backed up the files, but I had a moment of
absent-mindedness. Forgive me, for your software sure as heck didn't.</pre>
