            Bug ID: 810
           Summary: avconv wont accept "copy" as audiocodec like ffmpeg
                    did
           Product: Libav
           Version: git HEAD
          Hardware: X86
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: ---
         Component: libavcodec
          Assignee: bugzilla at libav.org
          Reporter: turtle-purple at gmx.de

Trying to cut the start of an m4a(aac)-file. Using Ubuntu 12.04
This FFMPEG-Command does the job:
$ ffmpeg -vn -acodec copy -ss 30 -i TEST.m4a TESTOUT.m4a
but the same command with avconv tells me "Unknown decoder 'copy'"

The Problem is reproducable without cutting:
$ avconv -vn -acodec copy -i TEST.m4a TESTOUT.m4a
avconv version 0.8.16-4:0.8.16-0ubuntu0.12.04.1, Copyright (c) 2000-2014 the
Libav developers
  built on Sep 16 2014 18:35:14 with gcc 4.6.3
Unknown decoder 'copy'

The same Command works with ffmpeg:
ffmpeg -vn -acodec copy -i TEST.m4a TESTOUT.m4a
The same command works with vcodec instead of acodec (though the input file has
no video)
avconv -an -vcodec copy -i TEST.m4a TESTOUT.m4a

$ avconv -loglevel 99 -vn -acodec copy -i TEST.m4a TESTOUT.m4a
