            Bug ID: 853
Summary: avconv: Option for XING header to be written to MP3
                    when libmp3lame is used.
           Product: Libav
           Version: 11
          Hardware: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: ---
         Component: general
          Assignee: bugzilla at libav.org
          Reporter: collier.matthew at gmail.com

avconv version 11.2, Copyright (c) 2000-2014 the Libav developers
  built on Jan 26 2015 02:04:49 with gcc 4.8 (Ubuntu 4.8.2-19ubuntu1)

I am using avconv -i {} -codec:v copy -qscale:a 0

My avconv is using libmp3lame.

to convert FLAC files to MP3. The consumer of these MP3 files likes to look
for the LAME XING header that is created by the LAME executable to determine if
the MP3 is V0.

I was unable to find a switch to enable these headers. Does such a switch
exist? If not, any chance of getting one?
