           Summary: Application provided invalid, non monotonically
                    increasing dts to muxer in stream 1:
           Product: Libav
           Version: 9
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: libavformat
        AssignedTo: bugzilla at libav.org
        ReportedBy: hadmut at danisch.de

Hi,

I have a vob file (taken from a Video DVD) which I can't open with avconv.
avconv issues error messages like

[mp4 @ 0xef0720] Application provided invalid, non monotonically increasing dts
to muxer in stream 1: 243428096 >= 243427584
av_interleaved_write_frame(): Invalid argument

It's a problem of the audio channel. I was able to successfully extract the
videostream with

avconv -i track_01.vob -vcodec copy -an video.mpeg

but when trying to extract the audio channel with

avconv -i track_01.vob -acodec copy -vn -map 0:a:0 audio0.mpeg

I get the same error message again:

Application provided invalid, non monotonically increasing dts to muxer in
stream 0: 348684480 >= 348684480
av_interleaved_write_frame(): Invalid argument

Interestingly, the vob file can be seen with mplayer, the DVD works without
problems in a player.

avconv detects that problem but doesn't seem to offer a way to fix it.

regards
