Summary: Bug Reports how-to page: commandline options
                    clarification needed
           Product: Website
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: Normal
         Component: libav.org
        AssignedTo: bugzilla at libav.org
        ReportedBy: bobbibmpn at mail.ru

"Submitting a Bug Report" page: http://libav.org/bugreports.html

contains the following fragment:

> The full, uncut console output provided by
    <code>avconv -v 9 -loglevel 99 -i </code> followed by the name of your
input file

----

Meanwhile, documentation suggest that "-v" & "-loglevel" options have equal
meaning.

$ avconv --help
...
-loglevel loglevel set libav* logging level
-v loglevel set libav* logging level
...

http://libav.org/avconv.html#Generic-options

‘-loglevel loglevel | -v loglevel’

Set the logging level used by the library. loglevel is a number or a string
containing one of the following values:

    ‘quiet’
    ‘panic’
    ‘fatal’
    ‘error’
    ‘warning’
    ‘info’
    ‘verbose’
    ‘debug’

----

Shouldn't the sample commandline be replaced with a simpler one, like this?
avconv -loglevel debug -i input_file.ext &> avconv_debug.log
