One problem on windows:
The interlocked functions usually requires long instead of int and also aligned
values.

IMHO, in the buffer pool implem, having an implementation that stores the lock
or the critical section in the buffer pool and use a critical section instead
of interlocked would not introduce a big performance problem and would perhaps
be simpler to port.
Also, the av_buffer_pool_init() implementation is correct but does not solve
the problem of having a unique buffer pool. But that's may not be part of it's
requirement.
