           Summary: Re-add the loop feature
           Product: Libav
           Version: 0.8
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: utilities
        AssignedTo: bugzilla at libav.org
        ReportedBy: libav at henning-thielemann.de

It seems that the -loop feature has gone since the transition from ffmpeg to
avconv. If I use the '-loop' option of the compatibility command 'ffmpeg' the
length of the video is identified as the loop length, not the length of the
complete video by YouTube. This worked correctly with ffmpeg of Ubuntu 10.04.

I used the -loop option for generating cycling videos like this one:
  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2JvOwS26Zg
or for videos showing a still frame. How would I do this without the -loop
option? If it is possible please document how to work-around the absence of
-loop. If it is not possible to work-around please re-add the -loop option.
