Summary: Allow a way to provide a sorted list of filenames of
still images to create a video from
           Product: Libav
           Version: git HEAD
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: utilities
        AssignedTo: bugzilla at libav.org
        ReportedBy: doherty at cs.dal.ca

At http://libav.org/faq.html#How-do-I-encode-single-pictures-into-movies_003f
it explains that if you want to create a video from still images, you need to
name them a particular way, and then use "-i image-%d.jpg" However, this is not
always convenient, and in particular, there might be complex application logic
around which image files to use, in which order, and so on.

It would be useful to provide an interface like mencoder's "mf://@frame_list"
where the filenames are written into a file, one per line, and that file is
used as the list of frames for creating the video.
