In this case I can suggest a simple workaround. 

IF there is some text between "Press ctrl-c to stop encoding" & "frame=156951
fps= 97 q=0.0 Lsize=      -0kB time=6546.12 bitrate=  -0.0kbits/s" part AND
exit_code = 0 THEN exit_code = 5

It is based on my example:

Press ctrl-c to stop encoding
[h264 @ 0000000004263C80] number of reference frames (0+6) exceeds max (4;
probably corrupt input), discarding one
[h264 @ 0000000004263060] number of reference frames (0+6) exceeds max (4;
probably corrupt input), discarding one
[h264 @ 0000000004263460] number of reference frames (0+6) exceeds max (4;
probably corrupt input), discarding one
[null @ 00000000014A4900] Application provided invalid, non monotonically
increasing dts to muxer in stream 5: 447901200 >= 447897420
[null @ 00000000014A4900] Application provided invalid, non monotonically
increasing dts to muxer in stream 5: 447901200 >= 447901200
frame=156951 fps= 97 q=0.0 Lsize=      -0kB time=6546.12 bitrate=  -0.0kbits/s  

video:0kB audio:13501500kB global headers:0kB muxing overhead -100.000000%
