Summary: avconv ignores audio bitrate -ab parameter
           Product: Libav
           Version: 0.8
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: Normal
         Component: utilities
        AssignedTo: bugzilla at libav.org
        ReportedBy: al4321 at gmail.com

Platform: Debian 7.0 (Wheezy/Testing), x64. avconv 0.8.1

I wanna re-code my video into WebM, using VP8 @ 240 kbps + OGG Voris @ 48 kbps.
However the audio bitrate (-ab) parameter is ignored, so the resulting file is
HUGE at 240 kbps (for video) + 240 kbps (for audio).

Command line - Bad Example:

root at localhost:~# avconv -y -i "/media/sf_D/Videos/prostokvashino2.avi" -f
webm -vcodec libvpx -acodec libvorbis -ab 48000 -b 240k
    Stream #0.1: Audio: libvorbis, 44100 Hz, mono, s16, 240 kb/s

I know this parameter worked fine with ffmpeg.

Good example:

C:\Program Files\Participatory Culture Foundation\Miro Video
n\ffmpeg.exe -y -i "E:\Videos\prostokvashino2.avi" -f webm -vcodec libvpx
c libvorbis -ab 48000 -b 200k "E:\Videos\Quality-try\prostokvashino2.webm"
FFmpeg version SVN-r25762, Copyright (c) 2000-2010 the FFmpeg developers
  built on Nov 18 2010 04:07:17 with gcc 4.4.2
    Stream #0.1: Audio: libvorbis, 44100 Hz, 1 channels, s16, 48 kb/s

Do you see ?
The output Audio bitrate is 240 kb/s (avconv) vs. 48 kbps (ffmpeg)

Full logs attached.
